La Sablaise
Monotype Argonaute (1942)
This Argonaute type sail boat was designed in 1942 by the naval architect Herbulot
for the nautical instruction centers. It has a crew of two. These centers, under
the energetic leadership of Commander Rocq, used many Argonauts from 1942 onwards.
Very seaworthy, this craft allows familiarization with sailing at a very low cost.
It is very stable and practically unable to capsize, and due to its size is easy
to tow behind a car.
